Remote AC Privacy Policy

Remote AC is a remote control app for cinema cameras on your local network. It does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data.

Stored on your device only

• The addresses, user names and optional names of the cameras you add, and your display preferences such as alert thresholds.
• Camera passwords, in the iOS Keychain.
• A menu catalog built from your camera's own web-remote scripts, cached per firmware version.

Network

The app connects only to cameras on your local network: the addresses you enter, and, when you use Find cameras, the other addresses on the network this device is on, each checked briefly for a camera. It contacts no other servers: no analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking, and no third-party SDKs.

iOS asks for permission to connect to devices on your local network; the app uses it only to talk to your camera.

Removing your data

Deleting the app removes its settings and cached catalog. To remove stored passwords as well, remove your cameras in the app's Settings before deleting the app.

Children

The app is a professional camera tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
